So yes I really have been to over 100 museums! 🏛

I started keeping track of my visits when I lived in London for grad school, and through my life and travels have kept it up ever since!

Did you know that the Temple of Dendur was a gift from Egypt to the United States in the 1960’s for assisting in a UNESCO project to save ancient monuments?!

The stones weighed 800 tons, and in the ‘70’s the @metmuseum was awarded the temple where it’s been in the Sackler Wing ever since! #metmuseum #arthistory @metmuseum
